Learn To Free Think is a passion project of mine, driven by the current culture where individuals are continually told what to think and are encouraged to not think for themselves. Common sense has become a relic of the past. Feelings have replaced facts. Lies of omission from the media go unchecked. The few are elevated above the many.
I have seen this culture shift over time, with the media and media-personalities being the driving force. This has intensified with social media, where a large portion of our citizens now get their “news” from memes. This same cultural shift is responsible for holding elites and experts on a pedestal and engaging in rhetoric where normal citizens are told they don’t hold the credentials or pedigree to have an opinion.
In this blog, I will highlight examples from the media where they lie to the American people, mainly by distortion or omission. Often these lies are to promote a narrative, which is nothing more than marketing. I’ll also sprinkle in my political commentary with a focus on facts and truths.
